PX system

The PX System is a complete plug’n’play, processor-controlled, horn-loaded stacking P.A. optimized for flexible, high power and modular array configurations. Presenting itself as a perfect alternative (against stacked line arrays), it offers an easy set-up, less cabling and very simple operation. Perfectly integrated, the PX system power rack is the heart of the system and it is composed by a very powerful POWERSOFT amplifier module, with PFC and SMPS, and a POERSOFT DSP, integrated to Armonia, with absolute reliability and ample headroom. The digital audio processor unit protects and optimizes the entire system, with RMS and PEAK limiters. All necessary signal processing functions like equalization, crossover filters, delays and limiters are setup at the factory. The system can be fully integrated into Powersoft Armonia workspace. The PX system can offer high SPL, reliability, an aesthetic design and high sound fidelity throughout the venue. This system is designed for portable applications as well as small concerts. Side-fill or DJ monitoring are also one of the many applications covered by PX System.

PX SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:

2 x PXH64
The PXH64 is a powerful medium/long throw mid/high-frequency cabinet in a coaxial configuration, covering the frequency range from 150 Hz to 19 kHz. To obtain the highest possible on-axis sound pressure levels and clear and intelligible sound reproduction over long distances, the PXH64 is entirely horn-loaded. The coaxial arrangement of the High Frequency CD horn and the Mid Frequency 12" speaker creates a precise coverage pattern of 60°H x 40°V, ensuring equal sound within the coverage area.

2 x PXA8001
The PX8001 is the system Power Rack. Composed by a very powerful Powersoft amplifier module, with PFC and SMPS, and a Powersoft DSP, integrated to Armonia, this power rack is capable of driving a wide range of system’s configurations with absolute reliability and ample headroom. The digital audio processor unit protects and optimizes the entire system, with RMS and PEAK Limiters. The DSP has already installed 4 presets.

4 x PXL118
The PXL118 is a subwoofer with a rich, punchy sound, specifically designed to match the PXH64 mid/high speaker extending its frequency response down to 50 Hz. The PXL118 makes use of a Hybrid-horn design to achieve high maximum sound pressure while producing deep low bass. To achieve the highest possible sound pressure levels, the PXL118 is conceived with a very powerful, long excursion, 100mm voice-coil, 18“ woofer for precisely and powerful bass without any dynamic loss even under high SPL loads.
