It was a pleasant surprise when Joseph Mandy re-united with Lee Brune after many years having worked together on numerous theatrical shows in the early 2000's

"Lee and I go back many years when he ran several theatre and corporate shows for then Sound Harmonics. I fondly remember working with his late father Graham Brune at the Vereeniging Civic Theatre in my early acting days and later at Goldreef theatre as well as touring across the globe with African Footprint"

MOVING BACK TO THE VAAL

Sound Harmonics had been through tough times and having launched a new project just before COVID in 2020 brought many changes and harsh decisions had to be made. The decision was made to finally drop audio and lighting was to become the new venture. I decided to move back to the VAAL in 2024 after 35 years.

THE RE-UNITE

Having lost touch, it was a welcome surprise bumping into Lee when we visited our local Barnyard in Vereeniging. Lee had just become technical director so timing couldn't have been better. L2D Technologies was looking for a venue to showcase our new LED moving heads and Barnyard Vereeniging was looking to upgrade their fixtures.

INSTALL AND TESTING

It was a nervous day when Lee finally got to test the new range of lights from L2D Technologies and to our surprise, Lee and his business partners were over-the-moon with excitement as they began running the fixtures on numerous shows. The CATENA 48 and PHANTOM 12 are so unique in design that I'm happy to report "eye's were dazzled!" when watching the shows at this Barnyard.

THE FUTURE WITH BARNYARD

We are so grateful to Lee and Louis at Barnyard Vereeniging for allowing us this opportunity to showcase our new range in a real and proper environment. One cannot get a better demo space for clients to view these products in a real world situation.
